On a Tuesday evening at Prineville Elks Lodge #1814, you'll find dart flights arcing through the air, a snack table loaded with whatever members brought from home, and a bartender named Stephanie who already knows you're new in town and is happy to answer every question you have about the area. That kind of evening is not accidental. It's the direct result of a lodge that has kept its doors open and its bar stools warm for the Prineville community year after year.

The lodge sits right on N Main Street, walkable from downtown shops and parks, with RV parking available for travelers passing through Crook County. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Saturday, free popcorn included, with a kitchen that steps up for the occasion. The Friday Night Prime Rib has developed a reputation serious enough that locals plan their week around it, and the taco salad earns its own loyal following on the nights it appears on the menu.

With a 4.5-star rating built on 60 honest reviews, this lodge earns its marks the old-fashioned way: members who show up, visitors who feel like members, and a calendar packed with fall activities, community events, and the kind of low-key fun that Prineville does better than anywhere.

What We Offer

Happy Hour runs Tuesday through Saturday, offering a relaxed atmosphere with free popcorn and a rotating selection of food available for purchase at the bar. It is the kind of stop that turns a quick drink into a two-hour conversation with someone who grew up on a ranch outside town.

The kitchen earns serious loyalty with its Friday Night Prime Rib, consistently called excellent by members and guests alike. Taco salad nights round out the weekly food calendar, and the lodge hosts dart leagues, seasonal events, and community gatherings throughout the year. Whether you are a Elks member, a guest of one, or a traveler who spotted the sign from the road, there is almost always something happening worth staying for.

The lodge also offers RV-friendly parking for overnight visitors, making it a natural stop for anyone touring Central Oregon. Check the lodge's event calendar at elks.org for current schedules, special dinners, and upcoming activities.

"Friendly, active lodge. Open for "happy hour" Tuesday-Satuday with free popcorn and limited food available for purchase. Fun town with lots to do. Walkable. Great parks and restaurants. RV parking with 50 amps - no water or sewer - but there is a fairground RV park that is very close - dump $10 and water $5. Excellent dog sitter/walker available."

"Prineville Elks, great stop for the RV. Quiet peaceful town. Need to stay a day. Lots to see and do. Downtown looks like a fun place. The lodge is well run. Being an Elk for almost 20 years, it always feels like you belong when visiting other lodges."

"Service and use of space was unbelievable. It's too bad service and membership organizations aren't utilized more. The facilities might be able to be updated if there was more traffic and membership."
